Question:Why does the data obtained from the Preliminary Search vary from the data obtained in the member's area?
Answer: The preliminary search accesses people databases simply to verify that the person exists in the United States. This information is provided as reference material only. Search results obtained from the Preliminary Search may not match the search results obtained in the member's area based on the same search parameters. You will be charged for any Direct search, regardless of whether your search yields any reports or records, and regardless of whether any such report or record contains incorrect information or no information at all.
